What is Bells Palsy?

We can describe Bells Palsy as a temporary facial paralysis that occurs with damage to the nerve that controls movement of the facial muscle.

What can be the SYMPTOMS

  • An onset of a mild paralysis on one side of your face
  • (the patient may have a difficult time smiling)
  • Facial drooping
  • Pain around the jaw
  • Headache
  • A decrease in ability to taste
