What is Bells Palsy?
We can describe Bells Palsy as a temporary facial paralysis that occurs with damage to the nerve that controls movement of the facial muscle.
What can be the SYMPTOMS
- An onset of a mild paralysis on one side of your face
- (the patient may have a difficult time smiling)
- Facial drooping
- Pain around the jaw
- Headache
- A decrease in ability to taste
