Note:

If exposed to needle stick from a patient:

  • Get tested initially, 6 weeks, 12 weeks & then 6 moths.

If  exposed to a patient with HIV.

  • Drug Regimen: Retrovir 300 mg and Epivir 150 mg. BID for 12 weeks
