Dysrhytmias
- Sinus Bradycardia and Heart Blocks may require a pacemaker.
Normal Sinus Rhythm
- Rate: 60 – 100
- Regular Rhythm
- PR Waves: 0.12-1.20 sec.
- QRS: less than 0.1 sec.
A PVC (“skip a beat”)
- Give Lidocaine
Treatment is towards treating the underlying cause such as ischemia and arrhythmia.
- Cardiomyopathy
- – refers to diseases of the heart muscle. These diseases enlarge your heart muscle or make it thicker and more rigid than normal. In rare cases, scar tissue replaces the muscle tissue.
- Pulmonary Edema
- Dysrythmias
- Sinus Rhythm
- Sinus Bradycardia
- Sinus Tachycardia
- Atrial Fibrillation
- Ventricular Fibrillation (VF)
- Ventricular Tachycardia (VT)
- Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC)
- First Degree AV Block
- Second Degree AV Block
- Third Degree AV Block
