Multiple Sclerosis

– a progressive, degenerative disease that affects the myelin sheath surrounding the axons in the CNS.  Usually characterized by periods of exacerbations and remission.

• Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disorder
• Patient with MS would usually show signs of weakness and visual changes.
